4/27 Women's Words - Katelynn Monson
Katelynn Monson is a recent B.A. graduate in Women's Gender and Sexuality Studies from UMD. Her Women's Studies degree opened her to an organic, collaborative, and nurturing way to love the world, and she is still learning because of, around, and through feminist thought. She is fascinated by tea pots, herbal remedies, dogs, words and relationships. She doesn't mind public speaking one bit, and frequently reads her words to people willing to listen. She would like to meet you and hear your story.
Kate is part of Pr?ve Collective in Duluth, Minnesota. She is the Assistant Literary Director of Pr?ve Gallery, and is currently working toward the third release of its literary magazine, Pr?of. Her work can also be found in Aqueous Magazine Volume III, and hopefully soon in her first, yet to be named or finished, chapbook.
Women's Words airs Sundays at 1:30pm and 3:30pm. Funding for Women's Words is provided by The Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
