This week Radio Gallery talks with Duluth artist Mary Boman, a watercolor painter for over 40 years, she is celebrating her 80th birthday with a solo show at Lizzard's Art Gallery on Thursday March 13.

The opening reception for her show is on her birthday, Thursday, March 13 from 5-7:30pm. Boman has long had her work for sale at Lizzard's Gallery but in all her years painting has only held one other solo show/sale. Radio Gallery is pleased to bring you our conversation with a longtime naturalist painter, Mary Boman.

She shares a lifetime of public radio listening, degrees in journalism and art and 20 years of public radio experience with KFAI, WHA, WSUM and KUMD.
