Local artist Emma Rustin joins us on Radio Gallery as curator and contributor to the upcoming "My Funny Valentine" show opening Friday at Washington Gallery in Duluth.

Washington Gallery put out a call for art last month and with a geat response has put together a light hearted exhibit "My Funny Valentine." Contributors include a Bulgarian sculptor who is from Sofia, Bulgaria, EU. but lives in the Upper Penninsula as well as Eva Vales, a Mexican artist in Mexico City who graduated from ENPEG (National School of Painting, Sculpture, and Engraving ("La Esmeralda") and with studies at the prestigious School of Visual Arts in New York. The show also includes work from 10 local artists and even some writers have framed their work as art. "My Funny Valentine" opens this Friday on Valentines Day from 6-9pm at Washing Studios Gallery on Lake Avenue and is up through February 23rd.
