Minnesota Fringe is Minnesota's Festival of Performing Arts, happening August 1-11. This year's festival features 176 shows. This week we bring you an interview from our partners at Radio K in Minneapolis with a Minneapolis writer. Writer of "Word: The Musical, Dante Pirtle shares his experience of bringing this production to the stage. Minnesota Fringe is in Minneapolis & St. Paul, and includes special theme nights, creative and innovative acts, and much more, August 1-11, 2013.

She shares a lifetime of public radio listening, degrees in journalism and art and 20 years of public radio experience with KFAI, WHA, WSUM and KUMD.
