Radio Gallery 1-9-2013: Ken Marunowski

Marunowski's month-long exhibit at Beaner's Central is really made up of two parts. His charcoal drawings represent the industrial beauty of Duluth, while his oil paintings depict natural landscapes in the area. Much of his work done en plein aire, which means they are all done on-site working with natural lighting. Listen as Marunowski discusses his work in the in-between: Between French traditional art and modern American art, between abstract and realism, and between the industrial and natural world.
