Radio Gallery 07-06-2011: Grand Marais Arts Festival

The tradition of the Grand Marais Arts Festival has been enriching the community for 21 years, and this week Radio Gallery speaks with Kjersti Vick, the events coordinator for the Grand Marais Arts Festival. Vick joins us to share details about the upcoming festival, and the way in which the Grand Marais Art Colony preserves the tradition of creativity on the North Shore. The Grand Marais Arts Festival is an annual art festival that provides the public with a sensational opportunity to explore the work of local and regional artists. New to the festival this year is an event where artists will present their work in a public exposition, which provides the public with a closer look into the ideas and process of the artists. Follow the link below for more information about the Grand Marais Art Colony and details about the Grand Marais Art Festival.
