Rysavy founded Minneapolis based Catalyst Studios, which works with Fortune 500 companies such as Target to create web application development, public-facing, and much more. Catalyst Studios consists of experts in creativity, design, and technology development. They are an interactive agency and focus on the user application. Rysavy will be speaking in the Visual Lecture Series which takes place November 30th starting at 6p.m. at Montague Hall 70. He will share the importance of utilizing and applying skills, and the way that thinking differently helps to stand out in the design and interactive field.

Former Program Director, Maija Jenson teaches journalism in the Department of Communication at UMD and was a part of KUMD 2008-2019. She hosted a weekly arts program "Radio Gallery." She shares a lifetime of public radio listening, degrees in journalism and art and 20 years of public radio experience with KFAI, WHA, WSUM and KUMD.
