Lee Clark Allen is a Little Rock, Arkansas native who found his way to Duluth via Denver, Colorado. He joined us in the studio with a band he put together to perform at his first Homegrown Music Festival that features Allen on keyboards, Marc Hill on drums, Nolan Schmidt on bass, and Oscar Toftegaard on guitar. We talked with him about his musical background, including an opportunity he had to perform at Joe Biden's inauguration celebration, and about making his debut album, My World is Yours. He and the band performed songs from that 2025 release when they joined us in the studio for a session that aired on April 29, 2026.

Coverage of the Homegrown Music Festival on the North is made possible by the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund and by Music Go Round.
