On April 4, 2025, Duluth's American Indian Community Housing Organization hosted the Ancestral Embers Native Music Fest. Several performers from the event stopped by our studios earlier in the day, including Minnesota musician Keith Secola (with his longtime musical collaborator Steve Martinetti), Thunder Bay performer Jamie Sky, Winnipeg musician Leonard Sumner, and Twin Cities-based performer Jada Brown. The artists each shared a song and finished the set with a sing along of Secola's best-known song, "Indian Cars."

A seated man plays guitar in a radio studio with shelves full of CDs behind him. Two women to his left are singing, and man to his right is singing, and a man on the far right looks on and plays mandolin.
