Forever Home 3/12

Hazel is a smart one-year-old German shepherd mix. Her owner had to move and could not bring her along. Hazel loves squeaky toys, peanut butter, walks, and chasing squirrels and bunnies.

Rickieis long-haired black cat with a white star on his chest.  While he had a rough start to life, he is a very sweet boy.  He loves attention and is quickly becoming a lap kitty.  He is quite playful and can play for hours.

Charlie is a cream and white Labrador and American Staffordshire Terrier who is 1 year old. He came to us as a stray from St. Louis County and is now looking for his new loving home! Charlie is a chipper lad and is sweet as can be. He has tons of energy and loves to play with his dog friends, but his spunk may be a bit too much for cat friends.

Saffron is a grey tabby domestic short hair kitten looking for his new home!  He is a huge fan of snuggles and anything on a string.

All animals will be spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated by the time of adoption. If you are interested in adoption or more information, please visit Animal Allies as well asScooby's Animal Mission to view available animals and to learn about upcoming adoption events.

Lisa Johnson started her broadcast career anchoring the television news at her high school and spinning country music at KWWK/KOLM Radio in Rochester, Minnesota. She was a reporter and news anchor at KTHI in Fargo, ND (not to mention the host of a children's program called "Lisa's Lane") and a radio reporter and anchor in Moorhead, Bismarck, Wahpeton and Fergus Falls.Since 1991, she has hosted Northland Morning on KUMD. One of the best parts of her job includes "paying it forward" by mentoring upcoming journalists and broadcasters on the student news team that helps produce Northland Morning. She also loves introducing the different people she meets in her job to one another, helping to forge new "community connections" and partnerships.Lisa has amassed a book collection weighing over two tons, and she enjoys reading, photography, volunteering with Animal Allies Humane Society and fantasizing about farmland. She goes to bed at 8pm, long before her daughter, two cats, or three dogs.
