Aspen (Blue Heeler mix) was found as a stray and when her hold time was up, she joined us at Scoobys' Animal Mission. After a vet check, we discovered she is heart worm positive. But thankfully heartworm is easily treated. Aspen is about 1.5 years old which means she is past the puppy crazies and she is very friendly. She is foster to adopt as her adoption cannot be finalized until her treatments are done.
Foster to adopt means you treat the dog like she is your own, but SAM is financially responsible for her vet care.
Mama Kitty has raised her babies (Tink and Rio) and now she's ready to find her furever family. She's about 3 years old and is good with other cats. She loves her ear scratchies and toys.
Sammie is an orange Domestic Short Hair who is approximately 6 years old. He came to us as a stray from Duluth Animal Services and is now looking for his new loving home! Sammie takes a minute to warm up to you but once he does, he's the sweetest cat. Since he is quite shy, he is looking for a home where he can have a period of adjustment to get used to his new surroundings. If you are looking for a sweet boy who just wants to be respected and cared for, Sammie is the one for you!
Tia is an American Shelter Dog who is 2 years old. She came to the Northland from Texas and has been in foster for a few months. She is now looking for her new loving home! Tia is a very energetic girl who would love a home who can work with her on this since she does require bedrest following her Heartworm care. She is a girl who would do best as the only fur-baby in the home as she doesn't love sharing her spotlight. While she is quite the busy body, she does love napping as well and would make for a great cuddle buddy once she finds a couch that's hers and hers alone.
All animals will be spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated by the time of adoption.
