Thunder

Thunder is a fawn and white American Shelter Dog who is 7 years old. He came to Animal Allies from a previous home and is now looking for his new loving home! Thunder can be a little shy when it comes to meeting new people, but once he warms up you'll quickly see his loving personality. This big guy enjoys snuggling on his persons lap, playing fetch, and going for walks. Thunder also knows the commands for sit, shake, lay down, and roll over. Thunder is looking for a home with no other dogs so he can hog all of your attention!

Nellie

Nellie is a black and white domestic short hair who is 3 years old. He came to Animal Allies as a stray from Duluth and is now looking for her new loving home! Nellie can be a bit shy when you first meet him but, with a little time he warms up to be a very friendly, playful, and laid back guy. He also enjoys getting lots of attention!

Freddy

Freddy is an orange tabby Domestic Short Hair who is 1 year old. He came to Animal Allies from a previous home and is now looking for his new loving home! Freddy is a friendly little guy. He is a bit nervous in new situations, so he would love a patient home that will give him some time to adjust. While Freddy gets a long with most animals, he is a bit frightened by dogs (especially their barking!).

Ash

Ash is a tan American Shelter Dog who is 1 year old. He came to Animal Allies as a stray and is now looking for his new loving home! Ash is an energetic and friendly guy who would spend all day playing fetch if you'd let him. This smart pup comes with 2 free months of professional dog training, and is looking for an owner who will continue working with him!

All pets are available to visit at Animal Allies Humane Society.

Lisa Johnson started her broadcast career anchoring the television news at her high school and spinning country music at KWWK/KOLM Radio in Rochester, Minnesota. She was a reporter and news anchor at KTHI in Fargo, ND (not to mention the host of a children's program called "Lisa's Lane") and a radio reporter and anchor in Moorhead, Bismarck, Wahpeton and Fergus Falls.Since 1991, she has hosted Northland Morning on KUMD. One of the best parts of her job includes "paying it forward" by mentoring upcoming journalists and broadcasters on the student news team that helps produce Northland Morning. She also loves introducing the different people she meets in her job to one another, helping to forge new "community connections" and partnerships.Lisa has amassed a book collection weighing over two tons, and she enjoys reading, photography, volunteering with Animal Allies Humane Society and fantasizing about farmland. She goes to bed at 8pm, long before her daughter, two cats, or three dogs.
