Lola

Lola is a black and brown American Shelter Dog who is 3 years old. She came to us from a previous home and is now looking for her new loving home! Lola is a sweet girl who takes a little time to warm up to new people, but once she does she becomes super playful and friendly! Lola loves playing fetch, going for walks and snuggling with her humans. Lola is said to do well with cats and kids, but does not enjoy being around other dogs.

Hideaway

Hideaway is an all black domestic short hair who is 5 years old. He came to us as a stray and is now looking for his new loving home! True to his name, Hideaway is a bit timid at first and would love to go to a home that is patient and willing to help him come out of his shell. Once he has they opportunity to warm up, he is a very laid back and friendly guy. Because Hideaway is FIV+, he would need a home where he can be the only feline friend.

Canyon

Canyon is a chocolate Siamese who is 3 years old. He came to us from a previous home and is now looking for his new loving home! Canyon is a friendly boy who will get along with almost anyone! He loves any toy with catnip, but especially mouse toys!

Thunder

Thunder is a fawn and white American Shelter Dog who is 7 years old. He came to us from a previous home and is now looking for his new loving home! Thunder can be a little shy when it comes to meeting new people, but once he warms up you'll quickly see his loving personality. This big guy enjoys snuggling on his persons lap, playing fetch, and going for walks. Thunder also knows the commands for sit, shake, lay down, and roll over. Thunder is looking for a home with no other dogs so he can hog all of your attention!

All pets are available to visit at Animal Allies Humane Society.

Lisa Johnson started her broadcast career anchoring the television news at her high school and spinning country music at KWWK/KOLM Radio in Rochester, Minnesota. She was a reporter and news anchor at KTHI in Fargo, ND (not to mention the host of a children's program called "Lisa's Lane") and a radio reporter and anchor in Moorhead, Bismarck, Wahpeton and Fergus Falls.Since 1991, she has hosted Northland Morning on KUMD. One of the best parts of her job includes "paying it forward" by mentoring upcoming journalists and broadcasters on the student news team that helps produce Northland Morning. She also loves introducing the different people she meets in her job to one another, helping to forge new "community connections" and partnerships.Lisa has amassed a book collection weighing over two tons, and she enjoys reading, photography, volunteering with Animal Allies Humane Society and fantasizing about farmland. She goes to bed at 8pm, long before her daughter, two cats, or three dogs.
