Forever Home Pets

Boris

Boris is a red American Shelter Dog who is 9 years old. He came to Animal Allies as a transfer from a different shelter and is now looking for his new loving home! Boris is a sweet older guy who loves running around outside, receiving belly rubs, and getting treats. Boris still has quite a bit of energy for a 9 year old, but will make a wonderful nap buddy after a long day of play! Boris has had smaller dog friends in the past, but may enjoy a home with no other dogs so he can have all the attention to himself!

Athos

Athos is a buff and flame point Domestic Short Hair and Siamese mix who is 7 months old. He came to Animal Allies as a stray from Duluth and is now looking for his new loving home! The first thing you will notice about Athos is that he is a very friendly and affectionate little guy. With his energetic and playful spirit, he will make an excellent playmate!

Linsay

Linsay is a brown tabby Domestic Short Hair who is 12 weeks old. She came to Animal Allies from a previous home and is now looking for her new loving home! Linsay needs a couple minutes to get warmed up with someone new, but then she is ready to play and cuddle! She loves to run around feet and plop herself down on your toes!

Gina

Gina is a grey and white American Staffordshire Terrier who is 4 years old. She came to Animal Allies as a transfer from a different shelter and is now looking for her new loving home! This sweet girl can take a little time to warm up to new people, but once she does she is very friendly and loves going for walks. This sweetheart will make a wonderful pal for someone who likes to explore during the day, and snuggle at night.

All pets are available to visit at Animal Allies Humane Society.

Lisa Johnson started her broadcast career anchoring the television news at her high school and spinning country music at KWWK/KOLM Radio in Rochester, Minnesota. She was a reporter and news anchor at KTHI in Fargo, ND (not to mention the host of a children's program called "Lisa's Lane") and a radio reporter and anchor in Moorhead, Bismarck, Wahpeton and Fergus Falls.Since 1991, she has hosted Northland Morning on KUMD. One of the best parts of her job includes "paying it forward" by mentoring upcoming journalists and broadcasters on the student news team that helps produce Northland Morning. She also loves introducing the different people she meets in her job to one another, helping to forge new "community connections" and partnerships.Lisa has amassed a book collection weighing over two tons, and she enjoys reading, photography, volunteering with Animal Allies Humane Society and fantasizing about farmland. She goes to bed at 8pm, long before her daughter, two cats, or three dogs.
