Duluth has more than its share of challenges when it comes to affordable housing.
Between the hills and the bedrock, it's challenging terrain to build on and our housing stock is among the oldest in the state.
But surprisingly enough, options like tiny houses, building on slabs instead of basements and even creating what's called "inclusionary housing" could be options with some tweaks to Duluth's zoning ordinances.
