In the midst of an overwhelming opioid epidemic, St. Louis County's Public Health and Human Services staff has created the Substance Abuse Prevention and Intervention Initiative (SAPII) to provide community education, outreach, professional development training, and consultation services throughout the county. The SAPII team also coordinates the OARS (Opioid Abuse Response Strategies) workgroup, bringing together a variety of community organizations that work together to combat the opioid crisis in our communities.
