Remington | Contented Critters

Meet Remington. He is a male Rott mix about 4 years old. He is a big boy who likes to play , he has a lot of energy. He has been vet checked, neutered, and vaccinated. He is ready to find a family to call his own.

Tinkerbell | Animal Allies

Tinkerbell is a white and gray Domestic Short Hair who is 2 years old. She came to us from a previous home and is now looking for her new loving home! Tinkerbell is a curious cuddler! She is playful, gentle, and friendly, and she hopes to find a home where she can lie around with her people.

Dilbert | Animal Allies

Dilbert is a tan and black Labrador mix who is 10 months old. He came to us as a transfer from another shelter and is now looking for his new loving home! Dilbert is a playful, friendly, and energetic dog who is looking for a family that will provide him with lots of exercise and playtime. This guy would benefit greatly from an owner who can teach him basic behavioral skills since this young pup is eager to learn!

Willard | Animal Allies

Meet Willard! This handsome tom cat with the big chubby cheeks is so excited to find his new home. Even though he likes to hide under his blankie, once you take him out and start to interact with him he loves attention! This friendly boy purrs and purrs and leans into your hand for more petting. Willard is looking for an extra special home. He tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Syndrome (FIV), so although he used to go outside, he now needs to be a completely indoor cat. It would also be best if Willard lived with either no cats or other FIV positive cats. Other than yearly vet visits and perhaps a bit of weight loss, Willard requires no extra care for his condition. For all of the care you give, Willard will repay you in love and fun entertainment.

Lisa Johnson started her broadcast career anchoring the television news at her high school and spinning country music at KWWK/KOLM Radio in Rochester, Minnesota. She was a reporter and news anchor at KTHI in Fargo, ND (not to mention the host of a children's program called "Lisa's Lane") and a radio reporter and anchor in Moorhead, Bismarck, Wahpeton and Fergus Falls.Since 1991, she has hosted Northland Morning on KUMD. One of the best parts of her job includes "paying it forward" by mentoring upcoming journalists and broadcasters on the student news team that helps produce Northland Morning. She also loves introducing the different people she meets in her job to one another, helping to forge new "community connections" and partnerships.Lisa has amassed a book collection weighing over two tons, and she enjoys reading, photography, volunteering with Animal Allies Humane Society and fantasizing about farmland. She goes to bed at 8pm, long before her daughter, two cats, or three dogs.
