Camp Bong

Richard I. Bong Veterans Historical Center

A fresh approach to learning will take place this Friday when children and their parents camp overnight at the Richard I. Bong Veterans Historical Center in Superior, the first overnight program at the museum.  Camp Bong is for kids ranging from grade 3 to grade 8, and will include a range of activities and discussions with veterans of World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. We talk with Robert Fuhrman, Executive Director at the Historical Center about this "hands-on" idea.

Chris Harwood is The North 1033’s Production Director and (acting) Program Director, a morning/daytime host, and the host of Soul Village. He is also a musician, a music historian, an audio engineer, and an avid record collector.
