9/8 Community Week: Jamie Harvie, Creating Accountable Communities for Health

KUMD continues our Community Week series on Northland Morning leading up to the MCCU Twin Ports Bridge Festival on Friday, September 11th.  We have a conversation with Jamie Harvie, one of the organizers of the Creating Accountable Communities for Health conference happening tomorrow and Thursday at the DECC auditorium.  The conference is focused on refocusing the linear approach to health into a more holistic approach that relates areas of personal, economic, social and environmental health.

Jamie Harvie is the Executive Director of the Institute for a Sustainable Future, a nationally recognized food system authority.

Chris Harwood is The North 1033’s Production Director and (acting) Program Director, a morning/daytime host, and the host of Soul Village. He is also a musician, a music historian, an audio engineer, and an avid record collector.
