Josh Landy is the Andrew B. Hammond Professor of French and Professor of Comparative Literature at Stanford University. He co-directs the Literature and Philosophy Initiative and joined Philosophy Talk as a co-host in 2017, bringing his expertise in narrative theory, philosophy, and literature to the show.
Ray Briggs is a Professor of Philosophy at the University of Chicago, specializing in metaphysics, epistemology, time, causation, and gender studies. They have published extensively on philosophical topics and co-authored What Even Is Gender? (2023). Briggs became a co-host of Philosophy Talk after previously teaching at Stanford University and other institutions.
Together, Landy and Briggs continue the tradition of Philosophy Talk as “the program that questions everything—except your intelligence,” encouraging listeners to think critically about life’s biggest questions.
