Laura Sellner debuted Superior Siren as a solo project in Duluth in 2012 expanding her atmospheric, eerie folk sound by adding cellist Rachel Gobin, bassist Nyssa Krause, and drummer Emma Deaner in 2015. The quartet released its first, much-anticipated self-titled debut on January 12, 2018. They joined us that afternoon to share songs from the album and talk about how the project has grown and changed.
