12/24 & 25 Christmas Eve and Christmas Day on KUMD

Enjoy holiday music and stories with KUMD on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. KUMD shares the work of the late Joseph Maiolo, reading one of the stories from his book Saint Matthew in Appalachia and Other Stories. Also catch music from local and regional concerts, classic stories and Christmas tunes.

Christmas morning at 7:00am catch Christmas Music & Memories with stories about your favorite hymns and harmonies. At 9am there's more stories with favorite food scenes in Christmas literature.  And don't miss the World Cafe on Christmas Day; David Dye welcomes Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings for a Holiday Soul Party!

We will not be airing Joseph Maiolo reading A Christmas Memory by Truman Capote this year so we have shared the audio here on this page for you to enjoy.  Happy Holidays from the KUMD staff and Duluth Public Radio community.
