Peter Yarrow is performing with New First Night and the Blue Canvas Orchestra on Friday, June 19th at Big Top Chautauqua. Here is an interview that KUMD's Chris Harwood had with Peter in May of 2014 prior to his concert at Sacred Heart Music Center. He talks about the vibrant folk scene in New York City in the early 1960s, his days as a member of Peter, Paul and Mary, and a life of social activism including his ongoing work with Operation Respect, promoting peaceful discourse between children in schools.
