Backyard Almanac: Getting Out for AutWin

After the leaves have fallen and the trees are bare, it's easy to conclude that the landscape has gone from glorious to boring. For Larry Weber, that's absolutely not the case.

The bonus season of AutWin has a lot to offer. Not only is there still plenty of animal activity, but it's also a great time to get into the woods. In these few weeks before snowfall, the way along the trails is an easy one, and the view through the trees and brush is largely unimpeded allowing sights that are unavailable almost any other time of year.

So, as Larry always says, get outside and take a walk.

You can hear Backyard Almanac every Friday at 8:20am on Northland Morning.
