Even for gardeners, we're going to call it a snow day.
The fresh and heavy snow is a positive for all future gardens. If the snow melts slowly, the ground should appropriately saturate, thus creating a good foundation for perennials and new plants alike.
For those that can't keep their mind off of garden work, Tom Kasper suggests staying inside and tending to houseplants.
But it's a snow day - do what you will with it!
