Green Visions: "Song for the Wild" at the West Theater

The writing of Sigurd Olson comes to the West Theater on November 2nd with Song for the Wild. The music and photography event is presented by the W. J. McCabe chapter of the Isaak Walton League.

The music for the event was written by Warren Nelson, founder of Lake Superior Big Top Chautauqua. The words utilized for the lyrics are those of writer and conservationist Sigurd Olson. Projected behind the musicians will be photos from the Boundary Waters. The Song for the Wild event is in celebration of the 100-year anniversary of the McCabe chapter.
