For cyclists who are looking for a bit of motivation or to have a greater impact, the MS Society is hosting an info and sign-up event at Bent Paddle on Thursday, March 16th from 4-7pm for their various biking and fundraising events. The MS Society hosts a one-day ride in the Twin Cities in May, the Ride Across Minnesota in July, as well as the MS 150; a two-day bike trek from Proctor to White Bear Lake in June.

“Everything we do here at the MS society is pushing forward towards a cure,” says Darren Josephson who works with the MS Society as the director of development for the Upper Midwest Chapter with a specific focus on their Bike MS events. “We want to be able to find a cure for this disease, but also empower people's lives that are living with it today… it’s an exciting time right in terms of research and everything that's happening with treatments.”

The event on Thursday is for anyone looking for more information or to register. You can learn more about upcoming events on the Bike MS website.
