Duluth's big beachy arts weekend on the shores of Lake Superior features 100+ jury-selected visual artists showing and selling work from the Midwest and beyond—plus live music, food trucks, family art activities and more. With free admission and parking, it's a welcoming annual community festival in a stunning setting.
Highlights:
• Artists exhibit and sell work in media such as ceramics, glass, jewelry, painting, photography, fiber, woodwork and sculpture—with $1,000+ in recognition prizes for top artists. Visitors get to meet the makers and often “take home a story” along with an original art purchase that supports small business. Located in a park that is Duluth’s main summertime access point for Lake Superior and the Superior Bay, visitors can drive, bus, bike or boat to the “end of the Point” for a festive good time. Some people even arrive by plane at Sky Harbor Airport, which abuts the park. The PPAF is presented by volunteers of the Park Point Community Club (PPCC), a nonprofit supporting ecology, culture, civic engagement and more on Minnesota Point and the greater region.
Programming is provided by the PPCC with support in 2025 from: the city of Duluth, Duluth Art Institute, Solglimt Lakeshore Bed & Breakfast, The Reader, North Shore Federal Credit Union, Heirloom Vacation Rentals, PBS North / The North 103.3 FM radio, J&RS Build, Canal Park Brewing Co, Bellisio’s Italian Restaurant, Pizza Luce, Pro Print, Siiviis Gallery, Duluth Forging Community, Michael Schuetze Design Photography.
