Move over Monster Mash, it's time for the Graveyard Groove. Dance TV's latest event deviates from their usual theatrical performance and sets the scene for everyone to fill the dance floor and participate.

"People come up and [they] want to dance too," says creator Andy Frye. "They want to be a part of it; they want to dance." On Saturday, October 17th starting at 8pm in the Great Hall of the Duluth Depot, the dance floor will be ready for patrons to dance the night away. Additionally, the crew from Dance TV will present a select few choreographed numbers throughout the night.

The Halloween spirit will be very much alive with spooky original tunes, tried and true classics, and plenty of extras like custom Halloween clack fans, and the crowing of the Halloween Queen. Costumes are very much encouraged.

Tickets for the 21+ event can be purchased on the Dance TV website. For college students, the first 50 to register through the website will be admitted for free (with a valid ID presented at the door).

You can hear Community Connection every Tuesday and Thursday at 8am on Northland Morning.
