Maybe you've seen him with a guitar, maybe you've seen him with a banjo. Either way, musician Nate Weiler is a regular on Northland stages. On Tuesday, August 18th, he'll be performing a solo show at Sir Ben's in Duluth. Nate can also be seen playing in a variety of musical groups in the area, including in the duo Salt and Pine.
When it comes to his personal music history, his first album was a vinyl purchase of a musician whose music was ever-present in his childhood home. His first live concert was of a group that was so good it was also his second concert. And his guilty pleasure song hits home whenever he sits down to watch one movie in particular with his 7-year-old daughter. "I cry every time I watch it."
You can hear Back Tracks every Friday at 8am on Northland Morning.
