This weekend brings an inundation of Finnish culture to the area with the annual FinnFest celebration. A complete schedule of events and activities at FinnFest 2025 can be found online.

Corresponding their newest exhibit with FinnFest, the Nordic Center will feature the work of Finnish artist Jaana Erkkilä-Hill. The visual works focus on history, society, and nature. More information can be found on the Nordic Center website.

And beyond the celebration of Finnish culture is a new exhibit celebrating the work of John Steffl. Located at the Ives Gallery at the College of St. Scholastica, Steffl's exhibit will focus on large scale paintings. The work will be on display through August and an opening reception will take place from 5:30-7pm on Wednesday, July 30th.

You can hear Where's Art every Monday morning at 8:20 on Northland Morning.
