In the words of Annie Dugan, there are "two new, brand new, spanking new" exhibits opening at the Duluth Art Institute.

"Within the Threshold" is the latest exhibit by Heidi Wanzek. The North Dakota-born artist works with found and gathered objects for sculpture art. Wanzek's art finds a balance between creating something new while also heralding what the object once was.

The exhibit by Charvis Harrell called "The Games We Play" features work that also leans on reclaimed material. Harrell's exhibit gets specific with social commentary, depicting images of the Black Panthers.

For those wanting to try their hand at art, the Main Duluth Public Library is hosting Maker Mondays for youths through the summer.

You can hear Where's Art every Monday morning at 8:20 on Northland Morning.
