Back Tracks: Three Music Questions with Colleen Ferrian

Colleen Ferrian

If you stopped by The North 103.3 studios in 2022, you were most likely met with a warm welcome from Colleen Ferrian. A longtime listener and supporter of the station, Colleen has an affinity for an eclectic array of music. She's also worked at record stores in the past and was the last person to wear the classic chicken costume during Homegrown.

In her youth, Colleen selected an autumnal album as the first she ever purchased. The DECC in Duluth was the location for her first live concert, a show featuring the power couple of the time. And her guilty pleasure song is a go-to energizer. "When that song comes on... it just makes me move."

Back Tracks receives support from Minnesota Power Employees Credit Union. You can hear Back Tracks every Friday at 8am on Northland Morning.

Luke Moravec is the host for Northland Morning on The North 103.3. He’s also a local actor, musician and writer. He loves puzzles, riddles and fun mysteries.
