A lawn chair, a blanket, and friends is all the more you'll need to enjoy Porchfest in Superior's varying neighborhoods this summer. The event visits a different area of town fortnightly making access to music easier for many who might otherwise find difficulty in getting out to see shows.
Next on the calendar for Porchfest is music in the Hayes Court neighborhood on Thursday, July 25th. The evening will feature music from Danny Frank and the Smoky Gold, Slope City, and Adam Herman's Pretty Band. This week's food truck is Superior Cubans.
Events go through the first Thursday in September, culminating with an acoustic session at Girl Scout Point in Billings Park. For more information and the schedule visit superiorporchfest.org
You can hear Community Connection every Tuesday and Thursday at 8am on Northland Morning. This edition of Community Connection is made possible in part by Lakewalk Surgery Center.
