Back Tracks: Three Music Questions with Paula Gudmundson

Paula Gudmundson will be packing up her flute and traveling to San Fransisco and North Dakota this summer for musical performances and teaching opportunities. However, Gudmundson - who's spent a lot of her life relocating - is also looking forward to plenty of time at home during her first summer here in Duluth.

The groundwork for Paula's musical future began with an album purchase by an artist with an ear-boggling vocal range and a first concert that had a spotlight on timbaleros. And her guilty pleasure song is a tune that was a total surprise even for the artist's biggest fans. "Pretty amazing, pretty fascinating in terms of the genre bending."
