"I'm really competitive by nature," says Santhi Muniandy-Deisch, one of three contestants on season two of The Great Minnesota Recipe on PBS North. There was no hesitation when it came down to Muniandy-Deisch applying to be on the show. "It was a good match for me... I love the concept of the show."
When it comes to the hot dish presented on the show, Muniandy-Deisch leaned into her Malaysian roots. "I wanted to bring some of my background into the hot dish," says Muniandy-Deisch who noted that there was also consideration for keeping a balance with the "Minnesota" element.
