Annie Dugan brings us three highlights for this week in art.

On August 11th at 5pm, the Joseph Nease Gallery is hosting a vibrant and colorful opening for artist James Woodfill's "Crossing Signals" exhibit. Woodfill (who will be in attendance) is a painter who also incorporates sculpture into his work.

"Reclaim Creative Reuse" is a new store in Superior geared toward the thriftier side of art. Owner Marie Williams, a 2017 UWS art history graduate, aims to provide art supplies with a focus on sustainability.

A new mural titled "Living in Color" is the latest addition to Cloquet Middle School. The mural is a collaboration between artist Adam Swanson and CMS students, as well as community partners Northeast Minnesota Beekeepers Association and Fond du Lac Gitigaan garden association.

Luke Moravec is the host for Northland Morning on The North 103.3. He’s also a local actor, musician and writer. He loves puzzles, riddles and fun mysteries.
