Call it a casserole, call it a hot dish; in the end, there's more than one approach.
The Best Casserole Cookbook Ever is the result of Beatrice Ojakangas spending countless hours in the kitchen perfecting recipes... and constructing a few meals that weren't good enough to make the cut. "Whenever I'm working on recipes I end up making a lot of mistakes," says the author. "I just pitched them."
In spite of the discarded attempts, Ojakangas still compiled over five hundred casserole recipes that run the gamut of the day, from early morning breakfast to after dinner dessert. "If you want to find a casserole that you'd like to cook, I'm sure you can find one in here."
The diverse collection includes meals for two, large group dishes, and a section that is designed especially for kids.
