Duluth YWCA celebrates People of Distinction

YWCA Duluth
2021 YWCA Duluth honorees: Julia Cheng, Khayman Goodsky, Sandra Gbeintor Oyinloye, and Natasha Lancour

Duluth YWCA Executive Director Meg Litts shares details about the upcoming YWCA People of Distinction Gala, at the Greysolon Ballroom in Duluth on Thursday, October 28th starting at 5:30 pm. A virtual option is also available.

The annual event "recognizes and honors people -- including feminine folx, cis or trans, non-binary or gender non-conforming -- who have worked to make our community a more inclusive and just place." This year, there are two People of Distinction honorees - Julia Cheng and Natasha Lancour - and two Emerging Leaders honorees - Khayman Goodsky and Sandra Gbeintor Oyinloye. 2019 People of Distinction honoree ChaQuana McEntyre will be the keynote speaker.

The event is free, though registration is required to attend. Masks are required for attendees of the in-person version of the event. More information can be found at ywcaduluth.org/people-of-distinction.
