Among the art events happening this week:
In honor of their one-year anniversary, Warrior Printress Letterpress & Design will be holding an Open House & Letterpress Show on Thursday, September 9 from 3-7 .p.m at their shop at 1924 West Superior Street.
On Thursday at 5 p.m. at the Marshall W. Alworth Planetarium at UMD, Tina Marie Higgins Wussow will be hosting an event called "We Are the Universe," a collaboration between writers and musicians, inspired by the work of Joy Harjo. Featured artists and musicians include Edward Ojard & Tina Higgins Wussow, Julie Gard & Alex Lewis, Cory Coffman & Jasper Farkas, and Laura Sellner & Miren Herbert.
Masks are required at both events.
