Even though the weather this week is cloudy and grey, an abundance of art around us this week can brighten the day. Annie Dugan reports on these events:
- Tonight (Monday, 12/3) from 5 to 7 pm at the Zeitgeist Atrium is the opening reception for plein air artist Matt Kania's exhibit "DOing: A Labor of Love," featuring oil paintings of artists and artisans doing the art or craft that they love.
- Tomorrow night (Tuesday, 12/4) at the Tweed Museum of Art is the next "Tweevening." Wendy Savage will talk about the exhibition Intersections, which is a display of contemporary Native American art from the Tweed Museum of Art Collection.
- The Joseph Nease Gallery is celebrating its 1-year anniversary in downtown Duluth (ongoing),
- On Saturday (12/8), the Duluth Folk School's Handmade Holiday Market is open, as is the Nice Girls of the North Holiday Marketplace in Lester Park, AND the Many Rivers Montessori: 3rd Annual Middle School Craft Fair.
