This year, the annual Beargrease Photo Contest and exhibition has expanded and is on display in Duluth during the race. This year the exhibition includes water colors, photos and more to come. Each year the call goes out and the hardy sled dog marathon fans, artists, professional and amateur and photographers submit their best work. For 2018, the exhibit returns to the Great lakes Aquarium where entry to the show does not require a ticket and can be seen through Sunday, March 11, when there will a festive closing reception from 1-3 pm where folks can meet the artists and reminisce about the 2018 John Bear Grease Sled Dog Marathon.
