After a well attended and enthusiastic reception at the preview for the Imago Mundi: The Art of Humanity art exhibit on Tuesday, the Sami Cultural Center of North America will host another viewing of the exhibit on Sunday, December 11, 1:30 – 4 p.m. The Sami Cultural Center of North America based here in Duluth has been invited to be a part of an international exhibition Imago Mundi: The Art of Humanity, a project started by Luciano Benetton. The exhibition is collection of small works of art from over 60 countries including the work of Sami artists from Northern Europe and North America. Director of the Sami Cultural Center of North America, Marlene Wisuri has been gathering and selecting small works which will be on display here in Duluth December 6, before being shipped to Italy for to be included in the world-wide show which is in Italy and online.
The Sami Cultural Center is located in the Lakeside Professional Building at 4915 E Superior St #205, The public is invited to their annual winter open house and exhibit reception with refreshments and visiting artists on Tuesday, December 6, 4-7 p.m
