Art photography is more than meets the eye.  Making art with photographs is much more than just taking pictures. Today we visit with UMD photography student Susanna Gaunt who is in the Emerging Photographers exhibit at the Duluth Art Institute. 

The 2016 Emerging Photographer exhibit, an annual collaboration between UMD and the DAI, is on display for a few more weeks - through March 31 at the Duluth Art Institute.

Maija Jenson
Former Program Director, Maija Jenson teaches journalism in the Department of Communication at UMD and was a part of KUMD 2008-2019. She hosted a weekly arts program "Radio Gallery." She shares a lifetime of public radio listening, degrees in journalism and art and 20 years of public radio experience with KFAI, WHA, WSUM and KUMD.
