Women's Words on February 16, 2014 featured Amy Clark reading her short story, "The Lake Effect," a reflection on a northbound drive into Duluth.

2/16 Women's Words: Amy Clark
Amy Clark is a graduate of the unique MFA program in Creative Writing and Environment at Iowa State University. She relocated to Duluth, Minnesota to begin a love affair with the Great Lake and is proud to call the Northwoods home. Her poems have been featured in such publications as North American Review, Cimarron Review, and Proof Magazine. A memoir, Remnants of the Disappeared, is forthcoming from Red Orchid Press this spring. She also works as a freelance journalist for KAXE radio covering arts and music stories.
