Women's Words on July 20, 2014 featured Minnesota poet Kathleen Jesme reading three poems, "I Didn't Go Back for a Long Time," "Gravity," and "Then It Was Another Season," from her poetry collection, Albedo, published by Ahsahta Press.

7/20 Women's Words: Kathleen Jesme
Kathleen Jesme, like most poets she knows, has spent a huge chunk of her waking life reading and writing. She earned an undergraduate degree in English literature from the University of Minnesota, and an MFA in poetry from Warren Wilson College. By profession she works as a writer of learning programs. By vocation she is a creative writer, and is the author of four previous collections of poetry, most recently Meridian and The Plum-Stone Game. She lives in Minnesota.
