This week Radio Gallery spotlights the Lake Superior Chamber Orchestra and the start of their 26th season! The group is dedicated to supporting local talent from the Twin Ports and making great music together.

Radio Gallery 06-20-2012 LSCO Concert Series

The Lake Superior Chamber Orchestra is starting off its 26th season with a concert on Wednesday, June 27 at Sacred Heart Music Center in Duluth at 7:30 pm. The concert will feature organist Rachael Kresha who will be performing Francis Poulenc's Concerto for Organ, Timpani, and Strings in G minor on the Felgemaker Organ at Sacred Heart Music Center. There are three other concerts this season and those will be held at UMD's Weber Music Hall.

Former Program Director, Maija Jenson teaches journalism in the Department of Communication at UMD and was a part of KUMD 2008-2019. She hosted a weekly arts program "Radio Gallery." She shares a lifetime of public radio listening, degrees in journalism and art and 20 years of public radio experience with KFAI, WHA, WSUM and KUMD.
