This week Duluth artist Jason Huntzinger shares his ideas and inspiration for the Art & Music Premiere that will take place on Saturday, November 5th at 7p.m. at 2104 East Superior St., Duluth, MN. It features his own work that he has been developing in his recent travels. He speaks about the way that art and music comes together to create a piece of art, and how they are both essential to one another. The Minneapolis band Painted Saints will be performing and will release their new album. The Art & Music Premiere will also feature music by If Thousands, and Lion or Gazelle.

Former Program Director, Maija Jenson teaches journalism in the Department of Communication at UMD and was a part of KUMD 2008-2019. She hosted a weekly arts program "Radio Gallery." She shares a lifetime of public radio listening, degrees in journalism and art and 20 years of public radio experience with KFAI, WHA, WSUM and KUMD.
