Kara Daly Conry is a local oil painter and Duluth Art Institute board member who will be joining us to talk about her work in The DAI Annual Membership Exhibition, which began on January 20th and ends on March 14th.

The Duluth Art Institute's Annual Membership Exhibition allows all contributing members to submit a work. Daly is a new artist to the Annual Membership Exhibition, and she works in expressive oil portraits and figure portraits. Her work was also featured at the Arrowhead Biennial Exhibition in 2008. Tune in as Daly tells us about her breathtaking portraits, as well as hear more about the Annual Membership Exhibition.

Former Program Director, Maija Jenson teaches journalism in the Department of Communication at UMD and was a part of KUMD 2008-2019. She hosted a weekly arts program "Radio Gallery." She shares a lifetime of public radio listening, degrees in journalism and art and 20 years of public radio experience with KFAI, WHA, WSUM and KUMD.
