Live from Studio A: Ian Alexy

A man in sunglasses stands in front of a dark blue wall with The North 103.3 FM written on it in white letters. The o in North is stylized to look like a compass needle.

A New Jersey native, Ian Alexy has performed in the Duluth area on and off for years with his brother Teague in Hobo Nephews of Uncle Frank, with his rock band the Deserters, and, most recently, with Babie Eyes. His latest project is an EP of covers called Campfire Extraordinary, each song with an accompanying video, produced by the musician himself, on his YouTube channel. We talked with Alexy about how he chose the songs for the EP and he shared songs from the release as well as a new, unreleased song.
